At Ruby Housing we have a fantastic record of tenancy tenure, with over 40% of tenants staying in the same home for two or more years. Even better, we have an outstanding 27% of tenants who have lived in the same home for three or more years.

When tenants stay longer, there is better community connection, less wear and tear on the property, peace of mind for owners, and a verifiably higher return on investment.

However, sometimes tenants do need to move; to a larger or smaller property; for work or family reasons, or because they have proudly bought their own home. With only 21 days notice required, the marketing and re-leasing machine has to quickly get into gear when tenants let us know they won’t be staying on. We minimise vacancy periods through promptly organising fresh photos, setting viewings, and a super fast response in processing applications.
